Shipping policy
SHIPPING METHODS & DELIVERY
Needles and Things offers UPS and USPS shipping service within the United States. Standard shipping service will be USPS Ground Advantage Expedited shipping options are available to you within the checkout process. We are not responsible for shipping delays due to inclement weather and we do not issue refunds for shipping costs if a delivery date is missed.
SHIPPING NOTIFICATION
When your order has shipped, you will receive a shipping notification email from us containing your tracking information. With this number, you will be able to monitor the progress of your package as it is in transit to you.
INCORRECT SHIPPING ADDRESSES AND REFUSED DELIVERY
We will make every attempt to validate the shipping address provided at checkout to insure it is recognized as a valid address with UPS and USPS. If we are unable to validate the address and we are unable to contact the customer to provide an updated address, the order will be cancelled and refunded.
In the event the customer provides an incorrect or partial shipping address when placing their order and it's returned by the carrier or if delivery is refused and returned to sender, Needles and Things will cancel the order and provide a full refund of the original purchase price, minus the shipping and handling charges.
Needles and Things will not be held responsible If the customer provides the wrong shipping address and we are unable to recover the package.
MISSING OR STOLEN SHIPMENTS
If you didn't receive your order but the shipping carrier is reporting that it has been delivered, please contact us as soon as possible. We will file a claim with the carrier who will perform a detailed investigation and potentially involve local law enforcement to recover your package. Upon completion of this investigation (if decided in the favor of the consumer) we will replace or refund your order as needed. Please allow up to 21 days for the completion of the investigation.
MISSING ITEMS IN SHIPMENT
If your items are damaged or there are items missing we will file a claim with the carrier who will perform a detailed investigation and potentially involve local law enforcement to recover your items. In order to start the claim you will be responisble for providing pictures of the items received, the damaged packaging, and packing slip. Upon completion of this investigation (if decided in the favor of the consumer) we will replace or refund your order as needed. Please allow up to 3-4 weeks for the completion of the investigation.
Refund policy
Returns:
Our policy lasts 15 days. If 15 days have passed since your purchase, unfortunately, we cannot offer a refund or exchange.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it and in original packaging.
Due to copyright infringement policies, all patterns and books are non-refundable.
All shipping charges will be the responsibility of the customer.
Additional non-returnable/refundable items:
Gift cards, Downloadable software products, Linen, Lowery Stands and Lowery Accessories, Lamps
To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.
There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted (if applicable)
Any item not in its original condition is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
Any item that is returned more than 15 days after delivery.
Cancellations:
We do not allow cancellations on Linen/Fabric/Perforated Paper or Lowery stand products. We order these based on customer needs and therefore are unable to cancel once the order is placed.
Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment, within 1 week.
Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next, contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Exchanges (if applicable)
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at needlesandthings@yahoo.com
Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift card for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.
If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver.
Shipping
You will be responsible for paying for the shipping costs of returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.
If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
Shipping can take up to two weeks depending on the inventory on hand
Shipping is completed through your chosen method of mail.
Our shipping and handling fee covers the cost of postage and packaging.
